Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information you give us: first and last name, email address, phone number, and how you heard about us. If you sign in with Discord we also receive your Discord username, user ID and avatar.

Payout information: the Interac email address or bank details needed to pay you, and an HST number if you provide one.

Operational data created as you use the platform: the deals you commit to, quantities, chosen fulfillment method, shipment tracking, uploaded invoices, and the serial numbers of items received from you.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in securely.

2. Why we collect it

To verify who you are and decide whether to approve your account. To operate deals: matching inbound items to your commitments, inspecting them, and calculating what you are owed.

To pay you, and to keep the records that let us resolve a dispute about a specific item.

To contact you about your account, your orders, and new deals. You can opt out of deal announcements without losing transactional messages about your own orders.

3. Legal basis and consent

We rely on your consent, given when you create an account, and on the legitimate need to perform our agreement with you. You can withdraw consent at any time, though doing so usually means we can no longer operate your account.

4. What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We never ask for your credit card number, online banking password, or card security code. Nobody from EZ Cashouts will request those, and you should treat any such request as fraudulent.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers who make the platform work, and only to the extent they need it: Supabase for database and authentication hosting, Resend for transactional email, and our payment provider for issuing reimbursements.

Law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to, or where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or theft.

6. Storage, security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside EZ Cashouts is restricted by role, and administrative actions on your account are written to an audit log.

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and business records law requires. Serial-number records for items we have purchased are retained as proof of provenance.

7. Your rights under PIPEDA

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.

Send requests to info@ezcashouts.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can escalate to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: they keep you signed in and protect against request forgery. There are no advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.

9. Children

The platform is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes and contact

If we make a material change to this policy we will notify members by email before it takes effect.
